The Clinical Business Operations Representative performs general administrative and receptionist functions to assist patients in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner while ensuring adherence to organizational service standards.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Listen to voicemails, answer incoming calls and triaging messages to appropriate personnel.
Schedule, greet and checking-in patients.
Ensure patients have labs and follow-up appointments as needed.
Cancel, reschedule appointments, and block clinics as needed.
Call No-Shows, and reschedule patients as needed.
Call patients for appointment reminders.
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and other information as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Take and upload patient's photo onto chart.
Collect daily blood draw fees, follow-up/televisit co-pays, deductibles and other amounts owed.
Manage daily cash box.
Use electronic medical record system (Practice Fusion) for patients' appointments, lab results, medical records, referrals, and medical notes.
E-Fax - clearing, tagging, routing, and uploading faxes to EMR daily.
Assemble, complete, and process patients' charts as needed including obtaining necessary patient care records.
Ensure the appropriate new patient documents are completed, signed, and uploaded.
Receive packages and deliveries.
Assist with Worker's Comp forms and processes.
Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent/ College level preferred Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered
Experience:
Previous experience in clinical setting preferred Skilled in data entry, computers, and ability to navigate various software systems Knowledge of insurance verification and systems perferred Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form Skilled in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment Commitment to the organization's core values Other:
