Significantly high growth company searching for a Business Intelligence Developer that can support the reporting and analytical needs of the business by defining, developing and maintaining BI applications.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Develop and maintain data warehousing, ETL, and BI reporting Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports, dashboards and other BI solutions for analytics based on business requirements and technical specifications using the Microsoft BI Create end-to-end solutions to meet business requirements Maintain up to date knowledge on new business intelligence technologies and trends Interface with key stakeholders to establish business requirements, design appropriate BI solutions, and implement applications against development standards and best practices, and build key performance indicators for divisions of the business Ensure data accuracy and integrity through proper testing and validation Use warehouse data to develop and implement interactive analytical reports and dashboards to support business decision making and business performance monitoring Evaluate user requirements and identify the best source and delivery of the information requested by business users Work with business users to generate and deliver quality reports and perform quality assurance checks on reports Performs other related duties as assigned ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields with work experience in BI analysis and development required.
Experience:
Minimum 5
years of experience using analytical tools including Microsoft Power Platform or Tableau required Able to develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with stakeholders and peers Strong understanding of Power BI application security layer models Hands-on experience with data engineering including ETL and data warehousing Data modeling relational and multi-dimensional databases Experience with Data Visualization and design Prior exposure to cloud base data warehousing technologies preferred High level of computer skills to effectively use multiple systems including but not limited to Quantum, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook Ability to apply principal of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Skills/Abilities:
