Vice President, Systems Integration POSITION SUMMARYThe Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials within our organization.
This position involves overseeing procurement activities, inventory control, and handling shipping/receiving operations.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and freight carriers to optimize efficiency, maintain accurate inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCoordinate, process and manage the transportation and distribution of goods to meet customer demandsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providersOptimize carrier selection to minimize costs and maximize efficiencyTrack and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any transportation-related issuesManage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and evaluating suppliersMonitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to ensure adequate stock levelsConduct market research to identify new suppliers and products that align with company needs and quality standardsEvaluate supplier performance, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain supplier relationshipsReceive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standardsCoordinate with carriers to schedule pickups, deliveries, returns and exchanges, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goodsMonitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective inventory management proceduresCollaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory requirements, and prevent stockouts or overstock situationsMaintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies as neededIdentify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiencyNotarize documents Ensure a high level of internal client satisfaction Uphold and promote the company's Code of ConductOther duties as assigned SKILLS AND ABILITIESCreative problem-solver, with the ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects autonomously and in an organized fashion, balancing the long-term and urgent needs of the teamSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insightsDemonstrated ability to work calmly and collaboratively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, maintaining good judgment and the ability to escalate appropriatelyMust be detailed oriented and highly organized, flexible, deadline and detail oriented Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsMust be a self-starter, able to produce with limited supervision in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externallyStrong negotiation skillsExcellent writing, organizational, planning, and communication skillsAbility to work in a deadline driven environmentHigh energy, team oriented, data driven, and results focusedMust be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPointMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in logistics, purchasing and shipping/receiving rolesStrong understanding of supply chain management principles and practicesProficiency in using inventory management and logistics software systemsFamiliarity with import/export regulations and customs procedures is a plus PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Notary Public certification, or the ability to obtain one About the Company:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
