Davie, FL Davie, FL Full-time Full-time METRIX / XMF / QUALITY CONTROL TEAM MEMBER South Florida printing firm seeks a METRIX / XMF / QUALITY CONTROL Team Member with experience in both print and electronic media.
We're looking for someone who has an extensive knowledge of the printing manufacturing process.
The successful candidate should have a complete understanding of press layouts, paper finishes, and bindery manufacturing.
We work in a fast-paced environment, you must be a team player, and be adaptable / flexible to accept changes on the fly.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
(Listed in priority order) Create layouts using Metrix Software.
XMF Ripping, Viewing, Edits and Outputting to various output print devices.
Assist in the Quality Control Department, approving or rejecting Prepress Work.
Assist the Prepress Team in completing the daily tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have extensive knowledge of Metrix Layout Software.
Understand and knowledgeable in all type of layouts for printing manufacturing and Bindery Processes.
(Sheetwise, Work and Turn, Work and Tumble, Perfector, Saddle Stich, Perfect Bound, Flat Work) XMF knowledge is required, but will train.
Hybrid / Paks software knowledge is a plus, but will train.
Rampage knowledge is also a plus, but will train.
