Beverage Operations Manager

JOB PURPOSE MSC Cruises, the world's third largest and fastest growing cruise line, is growing.
We are seeking a Beverage Operations Manager who is passionate about hospitality and wants the chance to be part of a team creating extraordinary guest experience.
This person is responsible for supporting day to day beverage operations onboard MSC vessels, to achieve the highest results.
The Beverage Operations Manager analyses all relevant KPI results, liaises and collaborates with ships' Bar Manager, F&B Director, and area Traveling Bar Manager to maximize results.
The KPIs include Guest Satisfaction NPS, Beverage Revenue, Cost Management, Compliance, Employee Satisfaction.
#LI-LC1 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and liquor licensing regulations.
Conducting USPH inspections with the shipboard management team, ensuring 100% compliance, including equipment status and maintenance reports.
Analyze all sales, including beers, cocktails, wines, spirits, providing feedback to the vessels to maximize sales by Guests demographic.
Work closely with the shore side Food & Beverage Director to evolve Beverage concepts, service styles, menu development and incentive programs.
Review accuracy, adequacy, and inventory control of requisitions for beverage replacements, Consumables and Replaceable, Beverage equipment and supplies, both local and regular purchases.
Interview, and evaluate hiring opportunities for Beverage management and middle management personnel with the shoreside F&B Director and Sorrento Crew Office.
Assist the shoreside Food & Beverage Director with ad hoc projects as needed such as:
charters, large groups requests, Ocean Cay Beverage operation, and more.
Visits US and Caribbean vessels and Ocean Cay Marine Reserve to review overall Beverage product offering and develops and conducts audits to ensure compliance.
Trains Beverage Managers on how to serve safe alcohol to ensure that all employees are appropriately trained on responsible alcohol service in order to carry out their job responsibilities.
Understands cruise market drivers and uses that knowledge to create the Beverage product and manuals to be delivered on board vessels.
Conduct and update, market research to ascertain regional suitability of concepts, competitive set, target audience and economic factors Prepares and ensures implementation of Standard Procedures to align product and service offered on board the fleet.
Verifies Beverage revenue and costs and carries out benchmark of Beverage product providing feedback.
Monitors overall on-board revenue results and suggests action to improve quality and profits.
Analyses comment form result for each season providing feedback Proactively keeps up to date with all markets development innovations and uses this information to come up with creative thinking, future envisioning, and recommendations Working together with F&B Operations managers, supervises Beverage operations on board to ensure the achievement of established quality and cost/revenue standards.
Shares with Marketing activities plan, promotions, special events and innovations.
Shares with the Procurement Dpt.
strategies and feedback to improve service.
Participates in development of company operation system (Crunchtime, Otalio, etc.
) QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience) Strong experience and at least 5 (Five) years in cruise/hospitality industry, preferably in a multinational environment.
Strong background in the bar/beverage field working with multi-unit operations Good inter-personal and communication skills Strong leadership and influencing skills to challenge and support collaborators.
Analytical skills to analyze and read complex data Good knowledge of common applications (power point, excel, word, etc.
) and Capability to adapt on using different operating systems and business programs (Crunchtime, MMS, OIM, Calcmenu, Otalio, etc.
) Fluent in English Ability to travel 60% of time VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any) US passport or Green Card Recommended Skills Analytical Auditing Beer (Acoholic Beverages) Communication Creativity Economy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
