Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal

Description We're seeking a skilled and experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to support our growing legal team.
The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare estate planning documents.
You will assist attorneys in handling probate and estate planning matters.
Responsibilities o Review client questionnaires to confirm and clarify information.
o Assist attorneys in drafting estate plan documents.
o Update clients on the status of documents.
o Input notes and information into the case management system.
o Capture billable time.
o Managing case flows, documenting actions taken, and ensuring the case is moving in the workflow.
Qualifications o You must have at experience as an estate-planning paralegal to be considered for this position.
o Must have used drafting software.
o Strong oral and written communication skills.
o Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills.
o Must have complete familiarity with and ability to use Outlook (email, tasks, and calendaring), MS Word, Excel, and pdf programs (Adobe and Nitro Pro).
You must be able to copy and paste, edit, format, change fonts, and colors, save files to different locations, create files, create folders, work with Excel spreadsheets, etc.
More than a basic knowledge of these programs is required.
o Prior experience using case management software to manage files and workflow is a plus.
