Position
Summary:
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and creativity to a largely technical position.
Identify opportunities through daily review of bid lists, government postings, and industry resources.
Lead development of compliant, compelling, and winning proposals.
Collaborate with marketing and scientific professionals to further AirQuest's brand and maximize our potential for success.
Participate in industry conferences and plan exhibits to solicit opportunities from teaming partners.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage submission timelines, addenda, pre-bid meetings, submission requirements, and other real-time changes to active opportunities Prepare professional responses to sources sought, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs:
Write, revise, edit drafts of government proposal responses including executive summaries, technical information, management and past experience, resumes, pricing matrices, white papers, and marketing materials, Understand proposal time commitments and time management, Independently write and update project descriptions/summaries, qualifications, success stories, and lessons learned, as well as resumes and other documents, Manage public sector contracting portals, Prepare, edit, and update white papers, and Maintain quality and efficiency by developing and keeping current templates, databases, macros, and historical data.
Required Knowledge and
Experience:
Excellent written and spoken English Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience working in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and related software.
Performs stated job responsibilities under minimal supervision Excellent research and data collection skills Clean criminal background and driving record Ability to travel to support proposal efforts as needed.
Desired Education and
Experience:
2 years experience in government / public sector proposal writing Bachelors - Journalism, communications, or an environmental field A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.

Work is performed in a relaxed office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise.
Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
