At Skyhop Global, our goal is create raving fans.
As a dispatcher at our headquarters, you will play an integral part in providing on time transportation to our customers, who are airline crew members in their layover period.
Our dispatchers are a reflection of our company's commitment to safety, and raving fan customer service.
This position acts as a liaison between our drivers, customers and OCC (airline customer service).
In this role, you'll be required to provide support and direction to our drivers to meet contractual on-time performance standards in accordance with our company values.
We are looking for experienced dispatchers who are friendly, self-motivated and dynamic, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Dispatchers are required to respond to all situations with a sense of urgency, including documenting issues, responding to flight and schedule changes, and any crew calls that arise.
The ability to process visual information quickly and effectively is a requirement to be successful in this role.

Communication Skills - The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with crew members, airline representatives, and your co-workers (drivers and managers) is necessary.
Ability to muti-task - Dispatchers are required to keep track of a lot of moving pieces.
From answering phones, to monitoring GPS, to updating schedules, our dispatchers are always busy! Problem-Solving - You must be able to solve issues as they arise, often requiring you to think on your feet, or outside the box.
You need to show good judgement in high-pressure situations and be able to direct others to take appropriate action under stressful conditions to mitigate the operational impact.
Flexibility - Our dispatch center is a 24/7/365 operation, so ability to work varied shifts based on flight and trip volume is required.

years of customer service experience Experience working in a call center, or high call volume environment Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English is required, bilingual in Spanish is a plus High School diploma required, some college preferred Experience using GPS and Geofencing software, video tracking and other general technology skills is required.
