As part of this mission, the Chewy Health team is hiring a Manager, Healthcare Operations to help us build a suite of services for customers to manage every step of their pet parent journey and veterinarian care for their pet.
This position is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most dynamic and innovative teams at Chewy.
What youll do ?As a Manager, Healthcare Operations, you will serve as a leader of veterinary team members, embodying the Chewy culture to work collaboratively with your peers and deliver the pet parent WOW experience.
The Manager, Healthcare Operations responsibilities include:

Oversee operational performance, scheduling,reviewing SOPs and metrics to guide and advance your team.

Serve as a people leader, mentoringteam members with their career development, including conducting reviews, feedback and supporting training.

Engage with stakeholders to uphold Customer-First practices and deliver consistent WOW experiences.

Implement operational strategies as determined by the management team.

Consistently monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness in addition to employee engagement and satisfaction; communicate and relay feedback to management as appropriate.

Guide the team in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Communicate clearly and respectfully with stakeholders and team members.

Aid others on the team in their use of job-specific technology and software What youll need ?

years of experience as a people leader
Experience in veterinary clinicsrequired
Experience mentoring, training and leading others?
Experience managing budgets, P&L, and operations required
Strong ability to connect with stakeholders and demonstrate empathy and compassion?
Ability to manage conflict resolution?
Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills?
