We are looking for a licensed security officer that has customer service and hospitality experience.
This post is at a Marina and requires walking and being on your feet extended period of times.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SECURITY OFFICER In this vital role, you enjoy making the rounds to patrol your assigned site(s).
You are alert and observant, effectively monitoring your assigned area and checkpoints.
If problems arise, you remain calm and handle them professionally using your vast customer service skills while still enforcing site policies and all safety regulations.
Whether ensuring access points and unused zones are secure or patrolling well-trafficked areas, you are conscientious about any suspicious activity.
You write detailed reports about your activities while on patrol.
Loving that you get to communicate with customers and move around freely, you are so glad that you aren't stuck in a cubicle all day! Using your familiarity of site services and area amenities, you happily provide information, answer questions, review maps and give directions, assist with problems, provide service recovery, operate elevators, and more! Changing weather adds to the excitement of your job while out on patrol and keeps you on your toes.

SECURITY OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS Relevant experience (at least 1-2 years of experience as a security officer in preferred) Experience customer service, hospitality, nightlife experience Have a Security D license Able to stand/walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods CPR certification is a plus High School diploma or equivalent Military personnel are encouraged to apply! The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
