Duties/
Responsibilities:
Pull bulk products from warehouse per daily schedule needs using motorized pallet jack Repackage meat products according to order specifications Run products through scale, check labels & shipment dates are correct Count & stack product onto pallets for shipment Keep track of daily inventory & production needs Assist with production team as needed with packing meat products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by using various packing machineries Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.
) Make boxes according to specifications Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
Schedule:
Mon to Fri 6am until finish (approx.
3pm) Pay rate:
Negotiable Position
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience 1 year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, experience with food distribution advantageous.
Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to perform basic math skills Team player with professional, positive attitude and good work ethics.
