The Lab Technician will assist in the fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
Previous experience PREFERRED but not required.
OPC consists of 24 offices in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Summary of
Responsibilities:
Must be proficient in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of orthoses and prostheses.
Must be proficient with current fabricating techniques, familiar with material properties and skilled in the use of appropriate equipment.
Ability to work with plastics, metal joints, and strong in prosthetic fabrication.
Fabricate prosthetic and orthotic devices to schedule, per work order and practitioner specifications.
Work closely with clinicians on orthotic and prosthetic device adjustments and repairs.
Shipping and receiving duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years fabrication experience.
Knowledge and understanding of orthotic and prosthetic industry.
Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good hand skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and vendors.
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety requirements.
Physical Demands:
This job operates in a central fabrication lab environment.
This role routinely uses equipment such as routers, carvers, sanders, etc.
This job works with both Fiberglass and Carbon.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Vision:
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
