We are looking for a helpdesk support sub-contractor to assist in servicing our client(s) in Ft.
Lauderdale with the ability to provide support both onsite and remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals - Set up and troubleshoot network connections - Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups - Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting and operating systems (Windows, Mac OS) - Familiarity with Windows Server environments - Experience in providing IT support in a help desk or similar environment - Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), DNS, and firewall configurations - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Job Type:
