We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Associate Attorney with a focus on Business, Commercial or Real Estate Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a prestigious law firm, working with a diverse roster of clients across varied industries. The successful candidate will handle complex business litigation matters, providing strategic advice and counseling to our clients, while upholding the highest degree of professional standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
5. Engage in negotiation and dispute resolution with opposing counsel.
6. Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding potential risks, legal rights, and obligations.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal practices, and changes in the industry.
8. Assist in the development and presentation of internal legal training sessions.
9. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business litigation.
3. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
4. Proven track record in successfully managing complex business, commercial or real estate litigation cases.
5. Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines.
8. High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
9. Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
