Position Summary
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. The Manager is responsible to develop strategic and tactical communication plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand. The Marketing Manager will build and oversee a creative integrated multi-channel marketing department that builds brand awareness and reputation, provides steady flow of sales leads, and measures the return on marketing program investments. The Marketing Manager will also evaluate market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed in response to changing market conditions and product lines. These duties and goals will be accomplished either personally or through others by effective leadership and with detailed coordination throughout the entire organization. Ensure resources are focused on key markets as defined by Leadership team. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for eMarketing our various websites and will champion our Social Media Programs.
Working Conditions
Office setting, sedentary work. Long periods of sitting, viewing computer screen, and typing on keyboard. Heavy use of telephone with frequent interruptions. Moderate travel required with occasional overnights. Job Duties and Responsibilities (with percentage of time spent)50% Business Analysis-
Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department.
Define and establish budgets, metrics, KPIs to ensure functional marketing capabilities.
Guides preparations of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
Achieves satisfactory market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C.
Customize brand strategies to local market realities as needed (Winning at the point of Sales)
Link and ensure alignment between company and key manufacturers branding efforts
Sales leads generation, marketing automation, consistent, informed and personalized customer communication approach, ie. automated emails relevant to the specific customers.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
Expand and aggressively promote E-Commerce, with (SEO) Search Engine Optimization, (SEM) Search Engine Marketing, in addition to B2B and B2C Business Development.
To manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
To develop and implement a company-wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long term market share.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Evaluate and assist in execution of new business opportunities
Establish process and culture of best practice sharing (knowledge center implementation)

20% Relationship Building-
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Interact with vendors to review performance and evaluate potential new vendors
Monitor consumer insights, track & report key consumer metrics, and communicate best practices
Monitor customer experience, conduct surveys and other customer interaction
Interact with Eaton Product Management and Sales force to develop relationships, review performance and evaluate strategies
Interface regularly with Product Managers, vendors, fellow team members, channel marketing, sales and external channel partners to communicate and promote our product
Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company team members
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

Perform other related duties as required
Requirements/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations preferably in a similar industry. Required Bachelors Degree in Marketing; Masters in Marketing or Business preferred. Membership in IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and IABC accreditation are desirable. Marketing success in industrial products, manufacturing or distribution companies; robust background in B2B and B2C with commercial/business knowledge.
