Business Intelligence Analyst
Leads the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications. Ensures that the use of intelligence applications enhances business decision capablities. Uses data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources, then constructs software systems to solve a variety of business problems. Assists business analysts with finding patterns and relationships in data. Must possess strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and may require presentation skills. Typically requires experience in relational database structures, and system testing. Proficient in working with large-scale business data sets, fluent in scripting and rapid prototyping skills including expertise in SAS, WEKA, SPSS, as well as C/C++/SQL, Perl or Java. Typically requires over 8-10 years of related experience.
Requirements
1. Develop, test, and maintain production reports that satisfy the requirements of end users across multiple Change Healthcare products
2. Efficiently deliver information to customers in an automated manner within a heterogeneous environment using technologies such as SAS BI Server, SQL Server, SSAS, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
3. Produce accurate, visually appealing, fully documented reports that are clear and actionable
4. Create SAS programs, SQL queries, or database stored procedures to assemble necessary data from the corporate data warehouse, data marts, and other sources
5. Work with business interests in refining and documenting reporting requirements
6. Create reports and data extracts to support the needs of Change Healthcare operational departments on an ad hoc and regular basis
7. Develop an understanding of operational processes and data flows pertaining to relevant Change Healthcare products and systems
8. Utilize appropriate statistical, forecasting, and utilization models to support business objectives
9. Communicate results completely and clearly to management
10. Protect member's personal and personal health information by limiting report content and access where appropriate
11. Other duties as assigned.
12. Experience, or familiarity , working with Amazon AWS cloud-computing services such as Redshift, S3, Athena, etc.
