Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Manager for Channel Sales & Programs to expand Akamai's strategic partnerships in Latin America to accelerate indirect revenue growth in the region. This position reports into the Vice President, Americas Channels and will be based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The candidate must be fluent in English, Spanish and a native speaker of Portuguese.
About the Team
Our Channel Sales & Programs team members contribute a blend of sales, channel sales, marketing and business development experience to enhance Akamai's relationships with strategic partners. Akamai's best of breed portfolio of CDN, acceleration and cloud security capabilities provide unique recurring revenue opportunities for partners managing, optimizing and securing the digital infrastructure of enterprises in Latin America. Akamai's comprehensive partner program is aimed sat enabling partners to efficiently sell and and support the broad portfolio of Akamai's products and services. You will be working with a team of talented Solutions Engineers and strategic account executives throughout the LATAM region to increase coverage and penetreation in the region.
Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue, strategic bookings and new customer unit goals through multiple strategic partners in LATAM.
Define and shape the indirect, long-term strategy in LATAM by identifying the right partners (Telecom operators, systems integrators, cloud service providers) to help accelerate growth in the region.
Help lead the cultural transformation required to develop a larger channel ecosystem by developing, on-boarding, training and supporting large existing partners such as Exceda, Microsoft, IBM, ATT, and Vivo.
Help confirm and identify the right mix of channel partners by country and enable the local sales, marketing and operational teams to drive incremental new sales and revenue.
Identify and develop specific country GTM plans by maximizing channel partner footprint.
Help drive the indirect sales pipeline by leveraging Akamai's in region sales executives teams through close and coordinated efforts with our LatAm partners.
Develop and execute individual partner business plans plans for each focus partner, including specific GTM, marketing, enablement, and sales targets.
Visit customers on an ongoing basis with our strategic partners in Latin America.
Ensure smooth deal flow between the end-customers, partners and Akamai, resolve conflicts and track all operational and legal aspects of our partner business in LATAM.
Develop an enablement and certification plan for strategic partners.
Develop relationships with all the leaders of our partner eco-system.
Required Education and
Experience:
8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or
6 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree or
3 years of relevant experience and a PhD or
Equivalent professional experience
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline or Marketing, MBA preferred.
15 years of experience with channels sales management or business development in the SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS space.
10
years of experience with internet-related technologies.
10
years of Business Development experience with large, global Enterprise partners.
Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Indirectly managed a small team of high performing sales professionals.
Desired Skills
Must be an independent, high-integrity self-starter committed to delivering exceptional indirect sales results for Akamai.
Passionate about cloud technology and services and knowledgable about service provider business models (hosting, managed services, ASP's, content delivery).
Experience with multi-faceted, global strategic partnerships.
Ability to gather and analyze market data to help inform go-to-market decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a team player.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
