Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Systems ndash Contract, On-Site, Fort Lauderdale FL The Senior Software Engineer will join a leading edge rapidly expanding team dedicated to developing advanced automation frameworks for VRAR technologies. Heshe will be responsible for the rapid analysis of a wide variety of issues and tasked with quickly reproducing problems with the least of amount of test cases. The ideal candidate will bring the innate ability bisect code, examine bug tracking systems, locate dependencies and create ad-hoc solutions when necessary combined with the hardwired desire to speed up enterprise delivery. This position sits on-site in Fort Lauderdale. Key Responsibilities Grasp highly complex Linux Android systems and engineer advanced automation frameworks Triage and provide rapid accurate analysis of a wide variety of problems, find ad-hoc solutions. Perform log analysis utilizing a variety of tools including diagnostic, debugging and instructional userspace utilities for Linux Build fault trees for understanding root causes Perform ARM EABI stack organization and utilize in practice Provide analysis of PSS, RSS, procfs, smaps, maps Perform system application memory allocation, analysis for leaks frags Provide ELF format organization Skill Experience Requirements BSc, Computer Engineering Extensive software development experience in CC++ in embedded Linux environments Experience in Linux IPC and multi-threading programming desirable Development experience for with Android (middleware, kernel, and device drivers) Experience with embedded ARM processors and parallel computing (DSP,VPU,GPU) Ability to analyze and design systems mitigating delays from leaks, deadlocks, bad patterns Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills Experience with embedded software on Linux or Android. Experience diagnosing resource bottlenecks
