Applicants applying for the GS-12 must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience gathering and interpreting information and data from course participants and instructors to improve existing courses or create new ones. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position. Your qualifications will also be evaluated on the following knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs) and other characteristics that are relevant to the duties of this position and must be fully supported by information in your resume:
Knowledge of Human Resource Development learning theories, principles, and methods. Ability to conduct needs analyses and recommendations on the design, improvement of courses. Skill in using learning methods in the creation of training courses. Skill in the use of quantitative and qualitative techniques to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of instruction and training materials to address training gaps and improve training courses and materials. Skill in researching, selecting, and adapting technical information for inclusion in instructional material and recommend alternatives to formal classroom instruction.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
