As a Photo Manufacturing Development Equipment Engineer in Fab4 Boise, Idaho, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes, while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers.
Shift Equipment Engineers monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
They are also required to assist with equipment installs, engineering tests, create and modify equipment procedures, increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and thoroughly document all maintenance.
Shift Equipment Engineers will also actively participate in all TPM activities while supporting a safety first culture.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
  • The ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to components level.
  • Must be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed.
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and equipment troubleshooting skills.
  • Time-management, multitasking, and priority setting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • A high level of self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environment.
  • Display of Micron behaviors.
  • Photo experience preferred.

Education:

  • BS in Engineering.
  • AAS in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent, including military training)
    6 years relevant industry experience.
