Vehicle Description In the mid 60's, Americans demanded a compact SUV that was capable in any terrain, so Ford introduced the Bronco.
Our 1966 Ford Bronco was produced in November 1965 out of Michigan, making it one of the earlier broncos to roll off the assembly line as production started in August, 1965.
Once we found that our Bronco was a very early uncut vehicle, we decided to focus on a factory style restoration for the true enthusiast.
We dropped in a brand new factory correct 170ci straight six cylinder engine and rebuilt the three on the tree manual transmission.
Naturally, we finished the vehicle in Wimbledon White, a factory color for 1966.
Our Bronco sports an all new American Autowire chassis harness, Electric Windshield Wipers, Vintage Air air conditioning, freshly coated floor, all new wiring, lighting, seating (seat frames are original, seats were recovered and re-foamed), cleaned and coated engine bay, frame and underbody, as well as all new accessories, knobs and switches.
To give it a little attitude, we installed a wild horses 3.
5 suspension lift along with some larger off road wheels and tires to complement the look.
If you are looking for other powerplant options, such as a 302ci V8, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can discuss bringing your dream Bronco to life.
This vehicle is a rare tribute to the first bronco's that rolled off the assembly line.
It is a head turner with true classic appeal.
